I’m starting to post on Substack Notes, a platform open to everyone. It’s similar to Twitter but without the trolls. Elon’s not happy about it, which means that Notes may be onto something.
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like asking questions (see above) or making general Twitter/Facebook-like observations. One thing I’ve loved about social media is the smarts and humor of many people I’ve connected with there — you know who you are. Notes seems to be a place where we can still do that while cutting out some of the other noise.
Notes is also a place where I’m learning about other Substack writers and their content. Substack is creating its own environment for independent thinkers, providing readers with a wealth of topics from several viewpoints, and I hope it succeeds. So far, it is.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Wells $treet, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around.
You can also post notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Wells $treet can share ideas and have some fun.
Okay, back to work. Aloha!
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Cheers, Amiga!
