Omg. You are THE most creative person I know!!! I am not a student of the Bible - although I always meant to be - so I cannot wait for the Jane Wells bible reality show!! Keep us apprised of your progress!

Thanks for the update, Jane. I have been wonder what happened to all those witty columns. And I really miss Dumb and Dumber! But, having read many of your previous writings, I have no doubt that your future endeavors will be a success. I have never been a big podcast listener, but I guess I can start. Keep us posted.

Nice to see you back in my email box. I've done the podcast thing for a couple of years with 100's of weekly listeners. Hope yours does better than that. BTW, I think the "snark" come naturally. Maybe even via DNA.

Good on ya, Jane. I think we all need to take a break from the political drama and regroup. Your concept looks like fun to keep busy, so I will be happy to send along any seemingly fruitless ideas from time to time, to keep you company. Have at it.. cheers!

well how've you been? and here i thought i was lazy not tracking or monitoring your articles!

however after retiring 3 years ago i have monitored my mini-milestones of new growth. 3 years to sleep to finally 7am instead of always waking at 4am. a long time to realize it's truly ok to sit and do nothing. i don't "need" to be productive anymore.

a former coworker had a degree in anthropology (he worked as a draftsman to earn actual pay) and he told me ancient man only worked about 18 hours a week. so if i "work" 3 hours a day i call that a pretty good day. except now i "work" at trimming my bonsai trees and perhaps throwing a few clay pots on the wheel. and I seem to spend too much fun planning my next BBQ or smoked meals.....

your work to write a script is so "LA" yet i'm reminded of some friends from the east who also wrote a small series called "Over My Dead Body" where they "interview" dead people and produce little documentaries. they set up a few empty chairs next to the grave of some dead famous person and ask questions and converse with them for a while. hey ~ it's amusing!

i say "keep at it"! i'm investigating how many different ways i can make the same basic shape pottery. of course i'll change it up with small-medium, or large. and i'm creating some nice bonsai that will likely die after me when i'm gone. but for now the goal is "don't kill the trees". anything done on the topside of the grass is a good thing!

so "more please" is all i ask

Jane!! You live! Thank God. And I guess you’ll literally be thanking God for all that great Bible fodder to fuel your future. Bring it on! Can’t wait! I typically listen to podcasts in bed…the voices in my ear soothing me to sleep. So I end up listening to the same episodes over and over again night after night until I finally get to the end. I may save yours however for my long drives cuz I suspect suspense (even though I know how it ends) and wouldn’t want to miss a word. I’ll also likely laugh out loud, and wouldn’t want to wake my Mike. Echoing others, you’ve been missed.

Awesome! Have I mentioned that I do like to voice things? Have I further mentioned that I work for absolutely free? :-)

Wow! What a turn of events, or maybe “As The World Turns! “ especially after last night’s debate! ( As The Stomach Turns?) So glad you’re not stopping and you’re keeping that fun, “snarky” pen flowing! Looking forward to all that is coming next! Love you and here’s to an eventual kitchen remodel!!

Write about Noah and the ark from his wife's point of view. Along the lines of the frustrated wife whose husband just bought a boat, "Trust me dear, we're gonna have a great time!" And then it gets expensive! "HOA person: Hey Noah! You can't work on that boat in your driveway, we got rules! And, get your garbage cans off the street before 10 a.m. or we'll fine you for that, too!" The jokes write themselves! Good luck on your new endeavor.

If you're going for Purim, include a cooking segment: Esther whipping up some Hamantaschen and being judged by Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray and Ina Garten (or Alton Brown, Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay, if you want some male-female tension).

And just an FYI, for the traditional poppyseed filling, both my mother and grandmother always said, "You have to grind the poppy seeds TWICE!"
